I noticed nobody bid on these two v nickels. The picture is not so good but do see some LIBERTY letters. Anyone else trying this lately? http://www.ebay.com/itm/180979963266?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

I was also wondering if anyone checks the guide and if the price is significantly lower the price maybe ok? I know that these guides are not a really good guide for value but sometimes I get a coin for less than 50% of all the price guides I check including the lower guides. I tend to think that Numismedia and the Redbook can be kind of high for some coins but think they can be used for relative prices considering the mintage. Maybe the mintage is more important than the price in these guides? I just won this coin that is less than 50% of all guides for this coin. I believe the coin looks closer to F12 but the seller listed it as VG:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/320988186982?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
