    When I read post #60 at first I thought Krispy was saying bid sniping software could predict the future. I thought I would sign up if the bid sniping software could predict the maximum bids of other bidders but then I realized he simply used the wrong word. (That 'ci' changes the entire meaning of the word, doesn't it?)

    presence - the state of existing, occurring or being present in a place or thing. [Note that 'present' and 'presence' are closely related and the first six letters of each word are the same.]

    prescience - the ability to foresee the future
