Never really looked too hard for error coins as they aren't my thing, but I have cherrypicked a few varieties off the bid boards. Also got some decent prices on varieties that were marked too. No bid boards in T.O. though. The closest one is Citi Coin in Van Nuys. The board ends each week at 2:30pm Saturday (but you should definitely arrive early to have time to view lots and bid). The next closest is at Coins Plus in Newhall (up by Magic Mtn.) and that board is a little larger and that one ends on Tuesday nights at 7:30pm. This Tuesday is the end of a 2-week long open board that usually has better stuff. There's also a "buy board" at Ketts Koin Kastle down in Oxnard, but that isn't quite the same as a bid board as all of those coins are usually just hung up starting at retail prices. Let me know if you have any other questions about those.

Also, I'd recommend maybe joining one or more of the local coin clubs if you're not already a member. The Woodland Hills Coin Club meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of each month and isn't too far from you. Also, the Glendale Coin Club is a good one that meets on the 2nd Friday of each month, but it's a little further away from T.O., though we do have members from T.O. that come to each meeting.

Mike
