Bicentennial quarters, with diffrent noses?

    I cannot see either well enough to state for certain, but it's very difficult to think you're seeing anything other than some sort of damage or the like.

    I don't think it is done by the Mint. I think it is caused by circulation.

    On the one with thw weird nose if you look on United looks like lines through it?

    If you're speaking of the "lines" crossing the letters (on the lower example), they appear to simply be some form of damage.

    They're the same, trust us. You see, you're finding lousy, cut-up examples. Find us mint state examples. You'll see, then, they're all the same.
