Bicentennial quarter missing clad layer. Help

    AE87751C-0088-4B0B-BEEB-F0A487709024.jpeg 97B31722-B913-4BAC-A623-19C089D28DD0.jpeg 3DA2F2BF-A340-432B-90E6-98C95E509F3C.jpeg I’m not sure if this coin is damaged but it weighs the right amount for a quarter missing the clad layer. I’m curious about the damage to the edges.

    Looks like a missing clad layer only on one side but that might be corrosion only one side could of been exposed if it were in the ground=damage

    Have you ever seen a coin missing the clad layer on both sides?

    Yes I have those are more rare so my point was that if it looked like one it would most likely be a fake/copy,this is obviously damage.

    Ment to put a period after have I don't have any he asked me if I have ever seen one and I said yes,plenty on ebay e.t.c

    I doubt it, whatever you have seen on eBay are NOT missing clad layer on both sides.
    Those are listings by sellers who know nothing about errors!
    I think you don't even know what you are taking about.
    Dude you need to study what true missing clad layer errors are.

    I didn't look i though they existed i know what a missing clad layer looks like i only look at certified examples/go over the details not some person just taking a picture of a coin that has obvious environmental damage on both/one side claiming its a missing clad layer/layers most uncertified examples aren't the real deal.

    You didn't state the numerical weight.
    A better photo of the reverse and the edge would be easy to determine what you have.

    I weighed it months ago so I wasn’t sure weight
