Bundles of 100 banknotes. I am worried about them bending over a period of time, how do you guys store them?
Yes, experts confirm, lay them flat. (drug dealer's cash stash, Mexican 100 pesos in foreground, US 100 dollars in background)
In theory, there are (I believe) 212 crisp new bills to the inch, but these are used and take up more room, at least near the top. I used to know what the total turned out to be, but I've forgotten. Something over 100 million sounds right.
That's the problem for these big drug dealer's.... what do you do with all the perishable cash. If this Mexican coin dealer was smart he would have bought gold with all that FIAT and he wouldn't need a warehouse to store it in.
Jesus christ.... what a pay out for the gov't. If you were the cop and you were the only one in sight, could you imagine the temptation that 10 million dollars got up and walk into the trunk of your car.
Thanks for the replies! I was already laying them down flat, just wasn't sure what to put them in to keep the bills straightened. I just wrapped them in white paper after seeing the replies, unfortunately I can no longer look at them but at least I have comfort knowing they will safely be stored! I have bundles of Venezuela Bolivares, all uncirculated with consecutive numbers. I didn't pay much for them, as their currency is being manipulated. But they are cool and fun to collect.
Jumping on a pile of money like that and swimming in it like Scrooge McDuck is number 3 on my bucket list
