So I have been playing with my s9+ trying to figure out the best way to situate and light to take pictures of coins. Mainly trying to do dollars and quarters. Any advice or tutorial? I can already tell that certain lighting can really make even a perfect coin look horrible. Buy Mark Goodman's book, "Numismatic Photography/2nd Edition".

I have the same phone/camera. When at all possible, I situate my camera on top of two of my prescription pill bottles...which holds the camera steady...and I use the 5 second timer. Otherwise, I too recommend the book that kanga mentioned
