And they have to do this, they absolutely have to. Because if they don&#039;t and the others do, they just won&#039;t get enough submissions to stay in business. People are gonna go to the TPG that gives what they want. But there are differences between the TPGs as to how much leniency is applied for this type or that type. TPG 1 may be more lenient with this type and less lenient with that type, while it&#039;s vice-versa with TPG 2. This is how they each carve out their &quot;niche&quot; in the market. And they manage to accomplish this because they know the market well enough to know what people will accept and what they won&#039;t accept with any given type.</p><p><br /></p><p>But with world coins, much of that disappears because quite simply, they don&#039;t know the world coins, or their market, well enough to do that. And there simply aren&#039;t as many plastic buyers in the world coin market as there are in the US coin market. In the US market plastic buyers dominate, in the world coin market coin buyers dominate !</p><p><br /></p><p>Bottom line, you have a much better chance of finding a world coin that has been correctly graded than you do of finding a US coin that has been correctly graded. </p><p><br /></p><p>Now that doesn&#039;t mean that you can buy world coins indiscriminately - you can&#039;t ! You still have to ignore the plastic and judge the coin. It just means that, assuming you know how to grade, you have a better chance of having the plastic grade match yours than you do with US coins.
