I need a giant archival quality album with slipcover for coins. Can anyone recommend me a brand. I've used Safepub Collecto albums in the past which are standard but I need something bigger.
I like the Lighthouse Grande Classic! Beautiful and archival, and occasionally on sale - I have purchased at Wizard and on Amazon. The Grande holds six pages of encapsulated coins - 9 coins per page (x 6 = 54) - or a lot more of 2x2s in the sleeve pages they also sell. Here's the slightly smaller Lighthouse Vario G which only holds 4 pages of encapsulated coins -
I have found these to break easy from the coins weight or removing and replacing the slab back... I use the regular plastic pages 2 x 2 or 1.5 x1.5 . And mylar flips. For slabs I use the boxes from Wizard coin supplies. They are cheap hold a lot of slabs about 60 per box and never had any issues with chemical reactions on the coins. But its all personal preference as to what one uses.
