What months are best for coin shows? I'm hosting a show June 24 and 25 at the Clarion Hotel in Concord, California. Wonder how many potential attendees would be away on vacation. I expect July and August are bad months for anything but a very large show like the ANA.

Perhaps one of our members, Charmy Harker aka @The Penny Lady® could answer this for you. She lives in SoCal, and attends a lot of the shows in the state.

I might steer clear of June as it is the one of the heaviest months for both weddings and anniversaries.

Well on the east coast side of things, the couple of dealers I normally chat up with always say the summer times the slowest month. Everyone is on vacation or just not in the numismatic mood. Regardless,i will still be going to all shows I can attend and even plan on going to the big Baltimore show in July. I see it as less people around for me to compete with.
