I asked the chat person on JM Bullion who said Golden Austrian Philharmonics are the best looking and the same person said Golden Maple leaves are a close 2nd. What do you think?
Tell that to my Boss Some of the smaller denominations might look better because of simple designs like the Gold Maple leaf is.
Buffalos, GAEs, Libertads, Britannias, Maples, pandas, koalas, and about 20 more, plus all the oddballs that almost every country with a mint, produces it seems like every week a new one pops up.
Gold Maple Leafs, hands down. The Maple Leaf design is simple and beautiful. Plus, Canada doesn't put any god crap on their coins. However, I don't care a whole lot for the queen.
Call me crazy, but I find the use of a single three letter word that takes up only a tiny fraction of available real estate to be much less aesthetically offensive than a portrait of the queen eating up an entire side, but to each his own definition of "crap".
Tradition. Our coins have God. Countries with a British connection have the Monarch. The differences are what make each unique in its own way.
