So today, I got done with school, checked the mail, and found two packages for me. One is from a member of CT (Who shall not be named unless they come out and tell the public it was them) and one who is not. The one who is not sent me a world coin book for coins dated 1801-1900. The CT member sent me a small package with a few rolls of buffalo nickels, a 2 and a 3 cent piece, war nickels, two eisenhowers, a couple wheaties, one PCGS 1951-S MS66RD and one just labled 1939-D 65RB. A couple Liberty nickels and IHCs and some proof cents and a bag of foreign coins. I found it ironic that I got a world coin book and world coins at the same day! After I took a quick glance at everything I went to the bank, asked for halves, and they said somebody emptied them of halves, so I took $75 in dimes. Searched through them and found a nicely tarnished 1963-D Roosie. My FIRST silver from roll searching. Sold some coins today and bought more Wheaties. BEST DAY EVER! ~Cannyn
Awesome, Cannyn! Such a great day for you. Hope you enjoy the book and the coins. Let us see some of the ones you like best!
I'll get pics of the 2,3 cent pieces and the PCGS and 1939 cent tomorrow, might get a couple of the nicer buffalos tomorrow too. Thanks!
Cool. I'll look forward to seeing them. But it may have to wait until the pm since I have to do things in the am.
The World Coin Book I am assuming it is The Standard Catalog of World Coins 1801-1900. I was wondering if you like it? Oh I see my typo now.....ya don't have multiple windows open lesson learned
and a few more: I think this needs to be said too:
Probably going to sell the buffalo nickels as I do not care much for them, but definitely keeping the cents. The 1951-S is my very first TPG coin! The very first thing I saw when I opened it! Also going to keep the 2 and 3 centers for my 7070 my parents are getting me for christmas. Definitely keeping the foreign silver too. Great designs on them.
