Best Coin

    Well I have never cracked out a coin from a slab but I have thought about it...

    Wrong...most dealers will say...this coin isn't a MS65...its a MS64 at best...and I have been told not to say "it is not a MS64--its a MS65"...because most of the time they will let you keep the coin and they might not buy it.

    Alright....here is my best coin...but its also the one I just got in!!!

    I got it from Heritage for a high bid of $75...at that time I paid the highest $$ for one of these that they have listed...BUT after I got this one they sold about 5-10 more in the same grade that sold from $10-$25 MORE than what I paid :D :D :D :D

    ----This coin is part of a set I'm doing....Proof Franklins....all must be slabbed by one of the top 4 and must grade PF66 (CAMEO is ok)

    So far I have 8 out of 14---

    It has toning on both sides...but mosty around the rim....yes it is purple and rose color.

    PS---right now I have 56-63 (and 54) with only missing the 58....I think I found it today...hope I get it!!!!!...

    Dog-gone-it....I put in my bid at 40sec and was out bid at 7sec....

    Well back to look for another one that I like!

    1829/7 50c.

    Love them early halves, my 1829/7 in AU.Cond. is my fav.

    My 1873 CC Dime. It has passed through 3 generations of my family - so far!
