Received mine today.

 

The presentation was wider than my scanner so I had to stitch them together...

 

I got #0367.

 

Ordered 1 each 15025 $2 8888 Lucky Money Sheet Nov 18, 2015 and received the item 12.04.2015. The sheet is from "K" Dallas; most 8 on bill is K88888860E SERIES 2009.

 

No, it's the ridges of George's coat on the other side of the bill.

For what it's worth, I still haven't seen any blocks beyond K..N for the 8888 sheets. But if they actually sell the maximum 16,888 sheets, then there'll have to be at least one more block, presumably K..P.

Demand must have finally run out for the 8888 sheets. Given that the K..N block is out there, I'm guessing they are down to less than 2000 sheets left.

Received 2016 Founding Fathers sets 144-150.

I'm very upset. My time stamp on the order is 7:55 AM. I wrote the BEP asking what happened and this was my reply from BEP representative Storky Pitman;

"The 2016 sets have not been mailed yet are you referring to something else? They begin mailing on April 19th as indicated on the website.
Please phone us so that we can better assist you toll free 1-800-456-3408".

Looks like he is unaware they have already been shipped.
Needless to say, I am returning 5 of the 6 sets.

Sorry Storky, it was a bit earlier, as indicated by the large brown envelope on my front porch on Saturday.
Actually in my case, the timing was miraculous. I found it there just as I was leaving for work and brought it inside, then left. Not long after that, it started raining.

I just received an email from the BEP announcing a
2016 Intaglio Print Subscription Defenders of Democracy, and at first glance it looks almost identical to the
2014 Intaglio Print Defenders of Freedom.......can anyone tell me, aside from the 2014 & 2016 date and the words Freedom and Democracy, what the difference is between these two ?

Very little, deliberately. The 2014 prints were extremely popular and the limited issue sold out very quickly, which is unusual for the annual intaglio prints / souvenir cards. So in response to that demand, the BEP created this new version. Note that these new cards aren't actually dated 2016; they're intended to be a permanent part of the BEP's product lineup.

There are some differences in detail (e.g. the MPC images aren't the same ones used on the 2014 cards), but basically, they only made just enough changes that the new unlimited version will be distinguishable from the old limited version.

By the way, has anyone ever seen any $2 '8888' sheets with block letters beyond N?

 

There's one on eBay.

Did anyone get in on the 2016 $2 Single Notes?

 

I passed on this one.

I already have a series 2013 $2 , K20160150A, note from my Founding Fathers set.

 

I went for it. Figured "why not?"

The the San Francisco note is from cell H3. I thought it would be E1 like the Dallas notes. I'll need to recalculate the numbers to figure out why there L2016* notes aren't where I thought they would be on the sheet.

What's the serial number of the H3 note? My first guess is that maybe they're printing $2's on LEPE now, but I need more digits of the serial to check that. Let's see...if it's a LEPE run, then position H3 would get serials

so if your note is in one of those ranges, then I'd say LEPE is the probable explanation.
