Does anyone know the actual districts offered by BEP in the following $2 single note sets: 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. Also is there a current references guide to BEP currency offerings with descriptions of past issues?
2008: all except H, I, J 2009: all except I, J 2010: all except I, J 2011: all twelve, but A, C, D are artificial rarities with very few issued All districts except I and J had notes printed with serials 20080001 through 20112000. But the 2008xxxx notes for district H weren't issued singly; they only come in the Double Lucky Money set. And very few of the 2011xxxx notes for districts A, C, D were issued at all, because the BEP was seeing what would happen if they created an intentional rarity. Districts I and J, on the other hand, had notes printed with serials 20112001 through 20144000.
I vaguely remember the BEP holding a lottery for the 2011 $2 Single note districts A, C and D in April/May 2011. These notes seldom, if ever, come up for sale.
