Did you know that King Bauduin (we write it as Baudewijn but the Buadoin is how the french write it) once was "detroned" for a day becouse he wouldnt want to sign off on a law. The Belgian Governement had him detroned for a few hours, just so they could make sure the law passed and after that the king returned to his trone
Yes of cause. I know it. Baudewijn I was detroned at 1990 when Parliament has desided to permit an abortions.

this is 1 of of my all time favorite Belgium type coins. I have the 1, 2, 5, and 10 denominations. I am always on the look out for upgrade to my 2 (10 centimes) coins.
