Belgium 1899 50 Centimes (Dutch Text) – lamination Peel and Doubled Die Obv.?

    I just picked this up because I liked the Lamination peel – the lamination peeled before the strike, which I find interesting and would go good with my collection.


    When in hand I noticed, which I believe to be doubled die on the lettering II, KONING and DER.


    I am asking the members if they also see the doubled die and if the coin would grade fine. THX Ed

    Yes a doubled die, but I think the lamination peeled post strike.

    Thank you Conder101 - I can live with the peeled post strike seeing how much pressure is used striking these coins. ED
