I am officially hooked! I started CRH'ing a few weeks ago and I just got my 6th box. My first box was CWR's and that was a skunk. I was able to get 4 more boxes through 2 banks and that was awesome. I found 4-40% Kennedys and 2-90% '64 Kennedys and that lit my fire. What happened next will have me CRH'ing for the rest of my life.

Let me first say that I know I'm a newbie and I certainly don't mean to brag, I am just so excited and I had to share because my wife is ready for me to stop jumping up and down. Haha

I was out of town in a rural area for work and decided to stop by a bank and ask them for some half dollar rolls. The teller was very nice and asked me how many I wanted. I told her I would take a box if that were possible and she asked if I was a customer. I smiled and said that I was sorry but I wasn't. She said that she would sell them to me anyway because they had been there for a long time. That got me excited and I hung out for awhile because she had to go in the vault. She ended up coming out with a quarters box that was thoroughly taped up and she told me that it was CWR's of halves they just didn't have a box. I wasn't thrilled after my first box but there was no way I was going to be rude after she had been so nice. I was so glad that I took them. When I got home I opened the box and there was several different kind of rolls. I immediately noticed 2 rolls that were bank wrapped and I was pleased to find an entire roll of 2004 US mint "P" halves and a matching 2004 "D" roll. I was happy because my daughter was born in 2004 but I was hoping that the others had some silver. I started unwrapping the rolls and even though there were some marked Virginia and Wisconsin and 1977 they didn't have any silver. I kept opening and found entire rolls of 1974 and bicentennials. I was starting to get down and then towards the end I noticed 5 very plain, old looking rolls. Jackpot!!! I opened the first end and saw a bell. I knew that wasn't normal and poured them out slowly. Even my novice eyes could see 13 silver coins on the edges. I couldn't believe it. Those five rolls produced: 8 90% (1964), 6 40%, 26 90% Franklin's, 15 90% Walking Liberty's (total 49 90% and 6 40%). Wow!!! I am still so excited and I had to share. Thanks for reading my long winded story and I will try to get these pics small enough to post.
