Before and After Cleaning

    Can anyone guess how I did it? I found a hidden gem! Or so I think lol. Doesn't ruin the surface of the coin in anyway, simply gets rid of the dirt. IMG_2191.JPG IMG_2192.JPG

    Not necessarily. If you're cleaning with harsh chemicals and/or steel wool or something, you're going to destroy the value.
    Gentle cleaners like acetone are used to lift off nasty stuff that makes the coin look bad, thereby increasing the value somewhat.
