The plot thickens. eBay says past 30 days so they are out. I still have 14 or so days to neg him. However I suspect he will make good. Counterfeiting is a federal offense, and this case would be dealt with by the us attorney in Nevada, not Colorado. Feds don't play games in Nevada. Given it would be cheaper to refund instead of flying to Nevada and dealing with this I suspect this will have an acceptable ending. Oh and the 1909 s graded 63 rb s, so that helps. He did respond in a reasonable manner when I opened the case but I also think he might be trying to wait my 60 day feedback out so I told him he has five business days to resolve this. After that I'll just neg and call the Nevada us attorney's office.

To those asking why I bought the rolls I just felt like gambling. I've been collecting for many a year and for the last five or so years I would buy on eBay and sell to dealers at the Las Vegas numismatic Society coins show. (Next one is April 4-6. Let me know if you are in town we can get lunch at the plaice station). I would usually only make about 5% ish profit but I also get eBay bucks which gives me another 2%. If you sell at this show you have met me before. I'm the guy with 5-6 boxes of toned coins in a small luggage bag with the long handle. Since I approach every dealer someone on this board might remember me. I usually only show up for one day. Besides everyone needs a hobby. I would come home after work and surf eBay at night before going to bed. My thing is buying good toned coins with bad photos that were certified. One poster on another thread recently referenced this concept. But I'm getting bored with this so I thought I'd have some fun and try something new. The money isn't the issue I just want what I was promised an s mint Indian and a 1909 s penny. I figure if I can drop cash in the casino I can drop some cash on coin blackjack. It is one thing to sell me a roll with crap but I'm not ok with counterfeit coins. I found some nice Indian cents in the roll but those are not back yet from pcgs. Makes me wonder if they are also counterfeit. If so my position will become full refund only. I'll post a follow up when they grade. The reason I didn't get them back yet is they were normal submissions and these two coins were conservation. Hence the different release dates. Thanks for the eBay advise. Hopefully see you in april.

Ps I am somewhat impressed with the conservation service both coins had goop on them but they came back almost totally normal.
