    No, I didn't shoot anyoneo_O
I looked at the unsold list on AUEX auction site for yesterdays Frankfurter Sale. I noted that one of the best coins was "unsold"
Buy price was 3150Euros+ fees (20%)
It was bugging me all day, so when I finished walking the dog, I decided to press "buy" button.

Lots of small details especially for a coin as small as a ducat. It's intriguing that coins of this quality were made at the same time as cobs.

The Spanish, even though a super power in 1500-1650, struck poor quality coinage. On the otherhand, the Holy Roman Empire started striking milled coinage in 1500s/ started dating after 1490. The Imperial mints struck some awesome coinage from 1450-1806. Sadly most of them are unaffordable today.:(
