Tom encouraged me to join the International Bond & Share Society, <a href="http://www.scripomotion.com" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://www.scripomotion.com" rel="nofollow">www.scripomotion.com</a>, which I did.</p><p>He suggested I next visit <a href="http://www.clintonhollins.com" target="_blank" class="externalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="http://www.clintonhollins.com" rel="nofollow">www.clintonhollins.com</a>. Clinton's tables were located near the front of the room in the middle. He had a very very large selection of certificates. Bought another four certs.</p><p><br /></p><p>Why talking with a vendor that specializes in European certs I learned Bob Schwartz, from Archives InternationAL Auctions, had a table at the show. He called Bob over and we talked for ten minutes. He asked me to send him pictures of my currency and some of my certs. I had talked with Bob several times by phone so it was nice to meet him. Interesting guy he's a licensed dentist. I wonder if he gave up his practice.</p><p><br /></p><p>Then just made the rounds checking out the other vendors. More and more certs. One vender has some nice medals and currency. A couple of postcard vendors. I bought a racy postcard from the 1920s.</p><p><br /></p><p>One vendor occupied about one third of the back wall of the room. They only sold certs at two prices - $75.00 or $125.00. One of the women working there was browsing other vendors' stock, then buying some to sell at the $75.00/$125.00 table. She did this for the entire two hours I was at the show.</p><p>At the show was the first time I noticed the selling prices penciled onto the margins of certificates, even on certificates selling for $349.00. Bummer, IMO.</p><p><br /></p><p>Because snow was predicted in the afternoon I left at 1:30pm. Besides, I hate driving on 495 during rush hour traffic.
