    JCro57 Making Errors Great Again

Got this in from Charleston this afternoon. It looks even better in hand. Has an absolutely beautiful sheen on both sides, but the reverse is harder to capture.

Also picked up a nice 25c clad webbing strip. Going to buy 5-6 more quarter blanks to fill the holes in the middle before I encase it in a custom-made acryllic holder I am making.

    Enjoy!

Must be worth a pretty penny... That's what it is after all.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

That doesn't look like a dime planchet to me.... Is it a dime planchet missing cladding on both sides, or is it a dime sized punch from a Lincoln strip?

And who'd you buy it from? Being a Charlestonian myself, I need to know which store to hit up and get the good stuff ;)

Yours is 1 cent. It's just toning on a zinc cent. No extra value.
He is talking about the original post which was a year and a half ago.

    It's still worth a cent.

I am more interested in the Op's cent.
Physics brought up a good point. It looks like a bronze planchet to me.
