Bull Hockey I buy the coin not the slab no matter what TPG slab it is......as for green beans I don't own one or would buy one! When I buy a coin # 1 do I truly need the series date or variety . #2 does the coin have eye appeal? #3 is the specimen worth the value the owner/dealer has placed on it? #4 if forced to liquidate can I recoup my investment or profit ? #5 not paying for the coin being graded or regarded by a third party or a forth! #6 all stickers are removed It's that simple.....no need for whom the best TPG No need for a sticker....I'm buying a coin not some stranger's opinions . I trust my eye and have no need to pay for a fancy holder unless I choose to. This reminds me of buying a washing machine from Sears years ago when I was first married. We settled on a machine and price. Felt like it was a good value a good machine plus we had dirty clothes needed to be washed. Next the salesman sez.... we have an extended warranty " I strongly recommend you buy it" At that point a bell went off in my head.... He sez... no matter what happens to this machine we will fix it! If the paint comes off we will repaint it! Etc....Etc...Etc.. I said wait ... you mean to tell me I need a warranty on a new machine that comes with one? He said YES! I said rip up the sales ticket... God sakes I need a machine to wash clothes not a warranty . ... he's stands there stone face....I continue I ask Do you or have you ever play the lottery? He replies YES...OK I said if you played the number 123 would also bet 456? Because if you did you be betting against yourself ! And "I sir don't ever bet against my self! I went else where and made my purchase no warranty except the one that came with the machine for 1 year. Some 20 years passed the machine washed clothes never needed to be repainted.... Never bet against yourself buy smart buy what "Your" brain sez buy. Now someone else can have the soapbox....lol
