    That is a nice coin you have there. I have one in G-VG condition, and yours appears to be much better-- at least a Fine, I would say.

    I am with you on this one. In this batch, I think that the Brazil Peter II 10 Reis is my favorite to look at. It is chocolate brown, has a great bearded Peter, & includes such fine details the reverse. It is a fun coin to look at with a 3x glass.

    I also enjoy the character of the 4 Soles Bolivian coin.

    South American silver content

    I really like this coin & am starting to learn their use of weight & silver purity on some South American coins of old (.666 , .835 , .900 ). Since this coin is 2.500 grams and is .666 silver , would that give this coin about a 92 cents melt value base on a silver spot of $15.80 ?
