I merely said "watch" for them, so that you know your specialty inside and out, far beyond the simple coin-in-hand.

You never know what might show up at the flea market, church bazaar, or estate sale, where someone apologizes for (and heavily discounts) a Barber "...that wasn't struck right..." And of course, China will sell you a splendid fake for $5 or so, worth having for comparison.

I am fairly new to collecting and investing in Morgan's and Peace dollars myself. What I have been learning, is that building a bag (1,000 coins of pre 1904 Morgan Silver Dollars) is the safest and wisest goal to begin with. Pound for pound the Morgan's out perform any other coin available. Where silver has lost 70% over the last 3 years, the Morgan's have stayed the same price as well as the buyback. The Barber's have benefits as well being a private coin but in a quick liquidation a person wouldn't get as much.

funny, but I see much lower prices for Morgans than when silver was over $40.

Remind your readers, when doing their calculations, that a silver dollar contains 6.92% more silver than two silver half dollars.

full 1000 coin bags of silver dollars with all the rare dates and limited quantities are the only way to go we will then trade into private gold when the ratio corrects
