Banknotes with '666' in the serial number.

I got three triple 7's in my change yesterday. That's a sign of good luck right haha

How is this for 666? Had a whole new pack of 100 but have been spending them...lol!!! Passing on the good luck to all that take one.

 

I did keep these three, though.

 

I see so much currency (mainly new crisp Dollars because we are a foreign exchange office and we sell the $1's $5's, $10's, $20's, and $50's, mainly $100's and $20's come in from American customers arriving here in Europe). I like to mainly check Dollar notes, and I see 666 in the serial number all the time, so for me they are boring, but I understand some will pay a small premium. My eyes almost fell out of my head when we were changing the shift and I took a glance at the Scottish notes in my cash drawer...

 

Is it a fancy serial number? Yes
Is it a solid serial number? Yes
Is it a Flipper Serial Number? Yes
But calling it the Devil's Note? Ridiculous!

paddyman98, well there are those who consider the '666' to be the mark of the "devil" or Satan or "evil one"; so maybe a double '666' is really bad.

 

Believe me when I say this, I studied at a Christian Bible Institute for many years and the topic came up a few times. It is bad because of all the unnecessary hype that it is given in social media and movies. IMHO, it's just a random number. The devil did not put it there.

 

Well, if the devil did not then who did? That makes it even more intriguing!

The Devil's Advocate maybe? Well, I am not religious and find it amazing, for example, that in some buildings the 14th floor is right above the 12th floor but, oh well. Similarly, a 666 has no particular meaning but is still a neat find, but that applies to other numbers as well. Now if I saw a black cat coming from the left on a Friday the 13th ...
