Actually now that I take a closer inspection of that roll, I have some empty rolls extremely similar to that one
I look at every coin I come across. I even looked at an entire box of 2010d dimes. Didn't find anything special, but I looked. I did find a 1988 p cent yesterday that the FG had been what looks like wow brushed off the die. Au+ so it'll go to Wexler at some point. I need to see if it's previously reported first. Point is, the rare ones are found by looking. Don't look, let somebody else find them, because ownership of coins is temporary. We pass on, the coins don't. Just saying
If you're concerned about maintaining the integrity of the paper wrapper, you can probably gently uncrimp one end and slide the coins out. When you're done, put them back and recrimp the end.
Thanks everybody for advice. As already said is one end of the roll sided with a silver Roosie. The other one is ended with a thick hard piece of paper. It' s not possible to look onto the coins without destroying the wrapping paper. I'm really in a mess. I like this original roll.
