Shall I open this nice silver roll hoping to find hot lips or double striking? What would you do? All l can see is an uncirculated silver dime. No year but Denver mint.
I've never understood the appeal of collecting rolls. I want to know what the coins look like--not the wrappers.
You're killing us man...open it for crying out loud. I'm in tears and fighting off an anxiety attack!
There's a little known law that it is illegal to possess an unopened roll of silver dimes, has something to do with the Rolled Up Silver Dime Act passed many years ago...so open it up and be a good law abiding citizen.
Just because the wrapper looks old doesn't mean a thing. You didn't say there was a silver dime on each end. For all you know, this is one of those "unsearched" rolls that has 48 clad dimes in between. OPEN IT!!!!!
Throw them back in a drawer for some time when you need a bit of a lift. Of course, it is all clads bar 2, that might just tip you over the edge, but ho-hum, not my problem.
