I agree Dave and Log, I've bought a lot of coins from Teaparty over the years, and have always had a pleasant experience with them. Bruce
My experience was very similar to Log Potato. Some dealers were kinda gruff and abrupt. I chose to spend my bucks with dealers who seemed to enjoy working with their customers. I made a list of the dealers I'm going to see first at the show in June.
Unfortunately, it's very common to find dealers who pretty much ignore you when you walk up to their table. I don't know what kind of "business plan" this is, but it's really ignorant and unprofessional. On the flip-side there's many dealers who are friendly and accessable to your questions and concerns, and these are the ones I stick with. I had a few bad experiences at the Whitman show in Baltimore, but also many good ones that I'll remember. Some of the best were Steve Hayden (token dealer), Alan Teal (currency), J.J. Teaparty, and Steve Ellsworth (Butternut). I'll go back to them anytime, and pass by the bad ones. If you don't like them, don't give them your business. That's my "business plan". Bruce
