I was very much attracted to a particularly hefty example, but Bill nixed the plan, showing me how the coin had been smoothed and tooled. Of the set that Andy had, this is the one Bill liked the best, and the more I look at it, the more I love it. At 34g, this is only a medium denomination, but rivaled in size only by my largest sestertii.</p><p><br /></p><p>Note the cornucopia in the left field of the reverse, and the XP under the eagle, which would eventually be appropriated as the Christian chi-rho.
