<p>[QUOTE=&quot;silvercowboy72, post: 1205649, member: 28647&quot;]I attended the Whitman show here in Baltimore yesterday.&nbsp; My work schedule did not allow me to attend Friday like I had previously planned.&nbsp; I was on a limited time shchedule.&nbsp; I went looking for a 1884 and 1888 Philadelphia Mint Morgan MS 64 or 65.&nbsp; The Baltimore convention center is huge, and I have always went to the same exhibit hall when attending.&nbsp; Upon arriving, I was informed that they moved the show to another part of the convention center into a different hall.&nbsp; This threw me for a loop.&nbsp; I always print out a delaer list and map out which dealers I want to see.&nbsp; Normally dealers can be found in the same location, so this threw out of sorts.&nbsp; It was like I was attending my first show there all over again.&nbsp; </p><p><br /></p><p>In April I purchased some coins from Pocket Change and SMFM Investments LLC.&nbsp; I wanted to hit both of these dealers again.&nbsp; I never found SMFM Investments LLC.&nbsp; I believe they were there, but I think they were there as New Hope Coins.&nbsp; I can not confirm this.&nbsp; In April I was in awe of the all the CAC Morgans they had.&nbsp; New Hope Coins had plenty of CAC coins, but the majority of their inventory was old green label PCGS coins.&nbsp; They were asking for a premium of between $30-$50 per coin.&nbsp; It struck me strange that they had so many green labels, and I was not interested in paying that much over full retail for coins that I felt uneasy about.&nbsp; I simply moved on to other dealers I wanted to check out.&nbsp; Normally a lot of dealers are packing up or have packed up when I go through the the show.&nbsp; I was impressed with the amount of dealers still there.&nbsp; I never did see NGC or the Penny Lady, but I can chalk this up to me being confused with the new layout, and somewhat rushing due to my limited time.</p><p><br /></p><p>I was able to pick up a 1884 PCGS/CAC MS 65 Morgan and 1888 PCGS MS 65 Morgan.&nbsp; The 1884 Morgan came from J &amp; H Coins, and the 1888 came from Pocket Change.&nbsp; I found the two gentleman from J &amp; H Coins to be very nice, and I will look for them again in the future.&nbsp; They did not charge a premium for the CAC sticker.&nbsp; I am somewhat shy, and not really the type of person to haggle or try to work for a price.&nbsp; I go a price in mind that I think it fair, and am satisfied if I can acquire coins&nbsp; that I view as a fair price.&nbsp; Both of my purchases were at retail for the NGC guide.&nbsp; The `1888 Morgan came from Pocket Change.&nbsp; I had to go back several times to talk with the dealer due to him being very busy with other customers.&nbsp; I did not want o hover or interfere, so I waited my turn by looking at other dealers.&nbsp; The guy before me purchased about ten Frankin beauties.&nbsp; I overheard him tell the customer that Frankins were his specialty.&nbsp; I will make a mental note of this and be sure to check him about again from Franklins in the future.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
