I am saddened to learn this news and wish you and your family all the best. We lost a work colleague very recently and someone who I looked up to and had worked with since first starting out as a teenager 20 years ago. I am enlightened by the messages of support others have posted here. You are in good company in this forum. I hope you and your father receive good news. Peter
My mom had cancer twice. Two different types. One was about 35 years ago, (kidney - had one removed) the other 15 years ago (bladder). She is cancer free, 96 years young, independent and will beat everyone's butt who dares to get out of line. So, there is lots of hope. Must stay positive and not accept possibility of defeat.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I hope your father pulls through and you have him with you for a long time.
Very sorry to hear that ro. I've been in this situation as well, getting a parents cancer diagnosis and waiting for the prognosis. I hope you get good news next week. Keep us posted.
i wish all the good coin friends who are in the same situtation good luck/ and good luck to all thanks all for the good wishes
Very sorry to hear about your Dad. Wishing you and yours the best and prayers sent. I lost my Dad to Multiple Myeloma in 1995.
So sorry to hear of this. Dad, and you (as well as your family), are in my thoughts and prayers this evening. God Bless and keep.
ro1974, cancer is not necessary a death sentence. I can speak to this from personal experience. I am 8 years free and clear myself. I wish you guys the best of luck and hope for a good diagnosis/prognosis. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I am so very sorry to hear about your dad Ro. Speaking as son who also considers his dad a hero I can understand how upset you must be. However, as evidenced by many of the comments above it is absolutely possible to beat cancer. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there coin-friend.
I'm sorry to hear about your Dad Ro. Best wishes to your family and I hope everything turns out well.
