I've purchased about a dozen or more silver proof state quarters and national parks quarters from this eBay seller over the past 8 months and have never had a problem with him at all. He's always earned 5-Star feedback from me.

I guess it's just luck of the draw. The guy is a high volume seller, so perhaps you just fell between the cracks when he was fulfilling orders?

I do agree, however, that using Toolhaus.com can help you evaluate sellers better prior to purchasing. I use it often, but I don't always eliminate a seller for having negs. I try to figure out if the negs were serious and justified. Sometimes buyers are unreasonable or are scam artists who use negative feedback to try to blackmail sellers into giving them someting for nothing. As one who has both bought and sold on eBay, I've learned not to leap to conclusions just because a seller has less than 100% positive feedback.

Also, keep in mind, that under new eBay rules, negs disappear after a specific length of time. (I think it's one year), so always use Toolhaus to dredge up the old negs!

I got the idea that maybe if it was a high value purchase he sent it quickly and if it was low value he'd sit on it for awhile. But if you look at the recent feedback it seems like he just stopped sending things out at some point recently, because he is getting a lot of negative feedback suddenly and it's all people who bought their coins around the same time I did.
