    This new coin label sucked-up many symbols in Word. :) BAΣIΛEΩΣ / ΦIΛIΠΠOY / EΠIΦANOYΣ / ΦIΛAΔEΛΦOY

    SELEUKID KINGDOM
    Philip I (Philadelphus)
    AR Tetradrachm
    95-75 B.C.

    15.67 grams, 28 mm
    Obv: Diademed bust right with fillet border
    Rev: BAΣIΛEΩΣ / ΦIΛIΠΠOY / EΠIΦANOYΣ / ΦIΛAΔEΛΦOY
    Zeus seated left holding Nike and scepter
    Grade: A good Extra Fine. Beautifully made including many precision details.
    Other: Philip I ruled 95-83 B.C. during this frozen date coin of 95-75 B.C. Coin shows many precision details including Zeus beard and Nike’s crown of laurel & berries. Obverse is only slightly off center with reverse perfectly centered on tight flan.

    This new coin is an upgrade of my Philip I coin. It came in an NGC slab but please don't hold that against the coin. Here are a couple more photos to show what the coin is all about. Please post your coins of Philip I & other Seleucid kingdom folk.

    that's a beautiful tet c89...and everyone else.

    i just picked one of these up, not as nice by comparison...but not bad. for me, this is a flagship coin pretty much.

    chrsmat => that is a sweet flagship coin of yours (you certainly have a very sweet collection full of cool winners ... I like your coin tastes)

    ... again, I'm very jealous of C89's OP-coin and all of the other AR examples (man, I don't seem to buy enough AR examples lately ... noted)
