    We will see what nickname Bing comes up with for this King! This guy was chosen by Wamba (who retired to monastery) to succeed him) After ruling for seven years, Erwig also retired to a monastery! He chose his son-in-law Egica as the new King. 2456183l.jpg

    TIF, that is close. But I think it is the baby stage of Kool-Aid Man... note he is sucking his thumb, and without his diaper, there are a LOT of pellets laying around... :D

    I am really surprised that the Visigoth kings put up with moneyers, who depicted their busts on coinage, that resembled goofy cartoon like characters!

    No wonder the Umayyads destroyed the Visigoths...they were being led by jars of kool-aid. Oh man, you once again you outdoo yourself. This would be a dream coin for someone like me of Spanish descent.
