Very true, esp. in Low Countries Medieval gold. Their grading is ultra conservative, so you will be pleasantly surprised with your coin.
Nice example of the issue. Since its the first instance of the name Christopher on a coin, and my name is Chris, I collect them. The gold is fairly available if you look, but the silver is a bear to find. Steven was also produced in silver, and is similarly rare, but was not produced in gold, (sorry @stevex6 ).
