    Thanks Mat....

    The many mints of the Holy Roman Empire, like Prague/Breslau/Hall/Vienna/Klagenfurt....sure made great looking coins, from the tiny 1/32 Dukat 0.09g., to the massive 100 Dukaten 350g.!

    Now in 2016 we never see such quality.artistic engraving:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(
    so sad. We sure have gone backwards.

    True, most very modern coins suck. Everything is done via computer.

    Don't know the type, but is that wt. Correct ? 1/3 of a gram ? Must be tiny, but gorgeous.

    Yes weight is correct/ these tiny coins must have been struck for the lower middle class population. These would have been used for small transactions. The super heavy 20/30/40/50/100 Dukaten were used for presentation/ ie: Emperor's gift to a General for winning a battle/ diplomatic favours....
