Years ago...maybe 20 or so, I sent an old Red Book to Kenneth Bressett for him to sign...a 1962 edition I believe....but I've since misplaced it. I had asked him again a few weeks ago if he'd sign another one for my collection....he graciously agreed as long as I sent return packaging and postage. I just received it back today!! Sometimes the mail is good!! 20200620_171428.jpg 20200620_171445.jpg

Very old school, very kind of him! :D That's one of the reasons I love the hobby of collecting coins!

The best part it, nobody else would pay for that (or want) the signature except collectors. It's like he's our own private celebrity. Same goes for numismatic authors. (LOL)

Ken Bresset is a true gentleman. I've met him many times around the ANA in Colorado Springs. He is always approachable and unfailingly polite -- a tremendous credit to numismatics.
