I can't comment on your posts or your coin photos since you deleted them, but there's nothing wrong or sarcastic about what @Kentucky said. Nobody was calling you an ignoramus.
Please, if you think I was belittling you or even being sarcastic, I humbly apologize. I was just trying to be helpful and regret that you might have taken it any other way. BTW, love your coins.
I don't think we've had any for a long while -- not since ernst, the Persian prince who wouldn't tolerate anyone daring to outbid him on a coin.
The edited comment was tongue in cheek. The reason I deleted my post, was to restart it with full images, but by that time I'd had my fill of sarcasm relating to my inability to post images. If I was a new member I certainly wouldn't have felt very welcome.
And I took it as tongue in cheek. Please don't stay mad at us, I want to see some more of those coins. Some edge views would be good too.
I'm really not mad. I'm not a child and I didn't 'take my ball home either. Some 'well known members' seem to want to stir things up by getting involved in this. I really don't understand that mentality.
To @Kentucky and @hotwheelsearl's points, this is The Wrong place for trolls. To @DonnaML's, I've run into some since the memorable episode you mention. ...Except, Thank you, This is Why We Have Facebook.
...Well, um, since you took the trouble to ask, no, I didn't. ...Is it yours instead? Where are you going with this?
CT is the friendliest coin forum on the planet. I think most new people are used to the harshness of Facebook and Reddit, after experiencing CT I could never go back. @LRB trust me everyone here approaches a thread with the best intentions. I think we are all scarred a bit with the polarity in the world at the moment. Deep breath and enjoy, we are all friends here.
