Also the on the obv, a doubled S on an attempt by Charles Barber to implement Augustus Saint Gaudens initials on a cent.</p><p><br /></p><p>These examples take up two of the three 1959 Lincoln Cent reverses with the remaining STATES-S and proof UNITED transitions. One 1959 has the plating on the obv. The other 1959 has obv &amp; rev ASG remnants it seems.</p><p><br /></p><p>States-S as a die does not bow inward like on the removal, neither does the point stick down that far on the S die. The tops are even, but the images are different.
