Authentic Julius Caesar denarius? Or???

    Any thoughts on the authenticity of this coin would be appreciated! Recent purchase and plan on having authentication done if it seems worthy.
    If not - its being returned promptly.

    Another question is, where did you get it from? If it was from eBay, at an inexpensive price, then you have to question it's authenticity. If you purchased it from a reputable dealer, then you should feel reasonably comfortable.

    Of course. I think of them as the European version of vcoins. Some sellers are on both. MA Shops is not one store, but many. If you are concerned with the reputation of a seller, it is the individual seller that matters, not MA Shops as a whole.

    But I was kind of curious about this listing in the above photos.
    Any thoughts on weather this coin looks authentic?
