Hello, I was wondering what the weight of a chinese panda in its plastic airtite and plastic square sleeve should weigh all together. I just picked up a 2004 Panda and the weight for it all is 1.26ozt. The plastic sleeve is embossed with the mints name and such.
There were some good fakes being distributed that were "double sealed" just like the ones from the mint. Those were more or less correct weight. And considering that the plastic hard cases and sleeves are unlikely made to the same consistency standards as the coins, tiny variations in weight would not be a reliable measurement.
