Recently picked this up. Undated, but similar types were minted at the Vienna mint circa 1970's-80's. Based on its look, I'd guess this was minted in the later 1980's. It has a reeded edge and according to PCGS the planchet is composed of Copper-Nickel-Zinc.

Matching designs have appeared from the Vienna mint since at east the early 1970's in different "unit amounts" and different metals. These have been attributed as patterns by some Austrian dealers, but are probably more like test pieces.

The obverse is the same design used for Mint and Proof set tokens of the 1980's, but totally different reverse that had dates.
