Aurelian - MARS INVICTVS

There are obviously a lot of Sol/Oriens coins with captives so the captive being an attribute of Sol/Oriens here is not surprising. It's fun for me to "text-ify" the imagery in a very "I don't really know what I'm talking about but how 'bout this" way.

Oriens is a personification of "the East" I think. So... "the East" presents captives or victory over the enemy and the globe/world to Mars the god of war huh? That sounds exciting!
