These standards I deposited in the inner shrine which is in the Temple of Mars Ultor.”</p><p><br /></p><p>The temple on this coin was probably a temple from the Republican time or it was temporarily built to keep the recovered insignia. </p><p><br /></p><p>After the dedication of the Forum of Augustus the recovered insignia were then transported to the Temple of Mars Ultor and the temporary temple was torn down.
