Lovely Coin. Apollo was a favorite of Augustus even before Actium, but after that battle “Actian Apollo” was a particular divine patron. That coin tells a great story.

Great coin! Octavian / Augustus was in charge long enough to produce lots of interesting coins. They seem to be popular today -> prices are normally high.
You can find plenty of information about your coin on line:

Octavian. 31-30 BC. AR Denarius, Brundisium or Roma 32-29 BC, AR 3.57 g Bare head r. / CAESAR - DIVI F, Naked male figure seated r. on rock, petasus slung behind, holding lyre with both hands. C 61. BMC 591. RIC 257. CBN 73. (Image courtesy Numismatica Ars Classica)

I have an Augustus that has a reverse similar to one from Republican times.
