    Maybe the Romans had a lot of pet crocs. Better than a guard dog ;)

    Interesting coins. I may have to look for one of those after I finish my current project.

    The type here was significant since the city was a retirement site for many veterans of the wars with Cleopatra who were proud of defeating the croc and loved their commander Agrippa.
