An auction, I keep seeing on line, is it good or bad. Look at http://www.seizedpropertyauctions.com/
Just do not feel good about it. Anyone of you go to it? Thanks for input on this sight?

Receive "stuff" about them now and then but have never participated.

 

A lot of complaints about this company. I avoid it.
Read some things online about them.

 

Sound like a SCAM to me !!

 

There's a much more interesting -- and totally legit -- auction site of surplus government material. We actually bought a car on this site (had to pick it up in Wyoming), which has been a great vehicle. And occasionally I've seen NASA auction surplus Space Shuttle equipment quite cheap!

This is *not* the same as originally posted auction site. That one I cannot vouch for.

 

I did buy some Russian gold coins from that site and had no issues at all.

It's just an auction company and all the usual due diligence is required.

I have found that I am not going to get a "steal" there very often.

 

Auction sites are for sure a crap shoot !! you just dont know unless you have
some good advice from someone that has used the site before.

 

I met my wife on that site.

 

Was she buying or selling or misbid?

 

I have purchased coins from this company. Never had any problems. The only problem I see now, is the high percentage they charge the buyer and the shipping and handling is higher than I want to pay.

 

Dunno. I woke up with one kidney and my entire coin collection was gone.
