Auction House Mini Rant... (NOT the bay)

An auction I used to go to had a policy, where if there was a "book bid" and a floor bid that was the same, the item would go to the floor bidder. But this was stated up front, both in the catalog and by the auctioneer.

All of the auctions that I have ever participated in gave the bidder who made an offer first priority. Auction houses which don't do that will not get any bids from me.
